My son, Mark, gave this garden ball to me about 10 years ago for Mother's Day. I treasure it! I take it in the house every year and put it in the spare bedroom once fall begins so it doesn't crack or break once it starts getting cold. Today I put it back outside which is where it will stay till fall. The small navy pot was a gift from my daughter, Sara, for the sweetest reason. I was just having a horrible day and the next day she came over with this pot planted with annuals. I love gifts that keep forever and every time you see them - they remind you of the kindness and love that came with the gift. I think everyone should have a daughter...

Breakfast of Champions!
Here is what I have every morning for breakfast - Frosted Mini Wheats and coffee. It is so wonderful to live out here in the Northwest - we have such talented people. My cereal bowl and coffee cup is made of pottery from a local artist. I love birds! When I ran to the grocer the other day, they had Iris's for sale - my favorite - so I had to add them to the pic. I love whoever thought up blogland!
Happy Easter everyone!
Bella the goat!
Does anyone else out there have a dog that eats, literally, everything? She is still a puppy, but she is getting expensive. We grabbed this out of her mouth yesterday.... on Thursday she ate part of our darling daughter-in-law's shoe - costs us $60 at Nordstrom's rack to replace. At least this little onesie will only be about $7.50. Bella is faster than a speeding bullet! We think she is part goat. She is 8 months old - so we are hoping by the time she is 1 year old she will calm down a bit.
