HE DIDN'T NOTICE!!!!

I cannot believe it, he came out of the bathroom, picked up the pillow - threw it on the dresser,
turned out the light and jumped in bed..... such a bad boy.  So I made him get back up, turn on the light, and see what I made him.  He was really happy and loves it.  On his behalf, he said he was trying to get into bed since I had the window curtains open and the light on.... should we believe him?

Think hubby will notice?

While our darling granddaughter slept, I made hubby a birthday pillowcase.  His birthday is on Sept 2nd!  I wonder if he will notice it on our bed tonight - he is very good at not seeing anything quilt related...

I love Halloween material!

My childhood friend, Nanci, sent me these fabulous halloween print fat quarters.  They folded them so pretty - I hate to take them apart, but don't worry, they will be coming apart!  They came with the cutest buttons and a delightful pattern... now to get sewing and make something out of them!  I can't wait!!!
She also sent some really old bird embroidery squares!  Thanks Nanci!

Granddaughter's bed quilt

Finally got her quilt finished - on the day of her birthday I was binding it and washing it.

Will put a better picture up when I get one...   Fits her little toddler bed perfectly!

Our Grandson, Cole (Bear) - was trying to let our dogs, Lucy and Bella out of their kennel...

Bella in trouble again....

This time she ended up at the vet with 3 x-rays under her belt. We feared she might have blocked something - she was throwing up Saturday and just hardly got off her pillow for the last two days. But the vet found nothing (thank God) and she is on a bland diet till she starts feeling better. I hope she learned a lesson here and will stop eating our furniture. She just gets mad if we are outside and she is not with us... We took her out with us earlier - but she ate thru her leash - so back inside she went. She is a challenge for us...

for the base, brainstorm bronze, for the trim, tropical tan and the gutters will be bronze. I chose 'hustle' for the front door. Wouldn't it be fun to be the person who got to make up the names for the paint chips?

It's here! Tina Givens' new line of fabric called "Opal Owl". I got mine at Etsy at seller onceuponastitchinc for $8 a yard. She even sent me a free fat quarter! What a deal!
