My daughter made me a needle case for my embroidery needles.  I love it!  Now I won't loose so many needles!  Thank you so much Sara :)

And the borders are on...

Now to just add batting and backing.  It turned out pretty big - should be big enough for a toddler's bed when Cole Bear gets a bit bigger and outgrows his crib.  Size ends up being 68 inches by 50 inches.

I am blocking it with flannel... the material is 'Moda Funky Monkey'.  So far, so good...

I am just free forming it - so hopefully - I won't run into a wall!

Summer is going, going, gone...

The last of the annuals.... my beloved begonias!  I have to have them every year - they are so pretty!
Sometimes I try to grow vegetables... this is my attempt at growing a tomato plant this year.

We didn't get enough hot days here in Seattle for my little plant to mature... rats!

New pillowcase for ME!

Look what my daughter surprised me with this morning!  I love it!  It is the new fabric line from Tina Givens "Opal Owl".  It matches my quilt beautifully!

Now I have a match for the pillowcase I made for my hubby.  He was so cute - he asked me if I was going to make myself a car pillowcase like the one I made for him.  As If!  I have no desire to lay my head upon chevy cars... my idea of sweet dreams ain't that!
