It'a almost Halloween....

Living in Starbucks land has its advantages...  we have a huge selection of cool coffee mugs.  Here is my Halloween mug I bought a couple of years ago - so cool!

You can imagine my joy when I discovered my new 1/4 inch presser foot is all metal :) Now I don't have to worry about breaking it!  I really despise plastic crap!  I am a happy girl!

Can you believe I did this?  I broke my 1/4 inch presser foot!  I tried to use my zigzag stitch with

this foot.... silly, silly, me!  The right plastic part of the guide just snapped off when the needle hit it!
Now off to the store to purchase a new one once all the kiddles go home :)

I am a pillowcase junkie...

I love making holiday pillowcases!  Halloween pillowcases are on the bed and will be for the entire month of October.  I might need to make me a new set - just to spice it up a bit:)

Whew - just in the nick of time - the party is at 1pm and it is 11:20am.  Nothing like sliding into home base:)
