My Baby turns 28 years old!
My granddaughter drew pictures of "herself, her little sister, her Dad and her Mom" on fabric and I sewed up a pillow for her to give her Mommy as her birthday present... It was a big hit with her Mom:)

How pretty are these?
My dearest friend, Kathy, came over for a visit Tuesday and look what she brought me!
Just makes you think of Spring being here soon...
TaDa! My first crochet pillowcase is finished:)
Now that I have my 'practice' pillowcase done - I can pick out some gorgeous Amy Butler fabrics and make another one:) I loved this project - was so quick to do:)

You Go Girl Crochet tutorial
I finished step two of 'You Go Girl's crochet tutorial
I had this pillowcase that I had hand embrodiery a while back - thought it would be the perfect pillowcase to crochet a scalloped edge on. But, I had a bit of a problem getting the needle thru the cotton fabric. So my hubby came to the rescue...
He brought me in his 'awl' from the garage and it made my life sooooo much easier!
Thanks Hubby:)
You can find them at any local hardware store - I think Joann's should start stocking them:)

A new set of pillowcases
Laura Gunn's new Magnolia series - this is the agua and lime green dogwood prints. I made the pillowcases in reverse. Love them! They make me think of Spring:)

Something other than our Bathroom Remodel!
Cluck Cluck Sew has a tutorial that I am using to make our dogs' groomer a baby boy quilt.

I used her stack and whack method shown here...
Here is my fabric selection... The dots are from Sandy Gervais and the Owls are from Keri Schneider for Blank Quilting (2008). Seems like I have been having it in my stash for a bit...
I'll be showing the finished product soon!

Who doesn't love a new throne?
Now all we have left is the light fixture which is on its way and then I will have one final picture of the vanity and the new pretty light:)
