Gingher Scissors

I made this purse for Nanci, one of my very best friends in the whole world :)  We have known each other since 5th grade.  We were living in Alachua Florida.   Since then I have moved to Washington, and she has moved to Illionois...

 Here it is on my shoulder - to show you the size :)  I used batik for the top band and corduroy for the base of the bag.  Love the two textures together!

 A closeup of the handles I used.  Last year we went to Paducah and found these handles and I just thought they would be perfect for her purse.

 And here is the lining I used and a small pocket for her cell phone.  The pattern is the bella bag pattern

I just changed it up a bit ... The pattern comes in 3 sized S,M, and L - I made M - medium.

These are the scissors I used to cut out the pattern... talk about cutting thru butter... I love these scissors!
